About the Role
You will be responsible for the implementation and management of design technology processes, standards, and technologies across various projects. You will report to the Design Technology Manager and work with other key leaders across the firm to ensure strategies are in alignment with firm goals and expectations. You will collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and develop and implement a strategy to ensure CannonDesign is leading the industry in bringing the practice and our clients the best-in-class parametric, computational, automation-focused design tools.
What You Will Do
Assist project teams with BIM project execution planning at project kickoff and project milestones.
Advise and help define Level of Development/Detail for deliverables.
Author and implement standard workflows and processes.
Identify and assist in creating content to enhance our digital asset and detail libraries.
Evangelize, educate, and support primary design applications.
Design and deliver educational offerings ranging from essentials to advanced use of digital technologies at CannonDesign.
Support model managers and ensure health of the models by performing regular model audits and providing feedback to design teams.
Continuously raise the bar in inclusion and utilization of metadata.
Champion the use of and leverage data collection and query for purposes of design intelligence, optimization, automation, simulation, and downstream exploration for artificial intelligence.
Lead and/or participate in various Technology related R&D efforts and Special Projects.
About Your Qualifications
Advanced degrees in design, engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 4 years experience in an AEC industry with a working knowledge of all aspects of professional services from planning and schematic design through project close-out, including design and technical expertise preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, training design and delivery experience.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $83,600 - $104,500 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending account options, and voluntary insurances.
