We are looking for emerging leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit who will help us evolve our practice, as well as develop and strengthen our client relationships.Your RoleAs a Change Management Strategist, you will be a core member of our multi-disciplinary team focused on enabling shifts in the workplace, work practices, behaviors, protocols, norms, culture, technology, etc. Your work will span a range of scales, from supporting individual teams of 200 people moving to new work environments to communicating across employee populations of 20,000+ people. You’ll help to continuously assess and define the change, identify key tactics and messages, and deliver events and communications that successfully prepares individuals and teams for their new environment and experience.What You Will DoAs a Change Management Strategist you’llimplement change management strategies that use creativity to build interest and excitement, while also methodically addressing practical changes and new expectationsleverage existing tactics and experience, while also creating new approaches that are appropriate for the circumstancescreate both ownership and capability that sustains beyond the programcollaborate and partner with our clients’ human resources, real estate, facilities, IT, communications, and learning and development teamscreate appropriate delivery models dependent on client resources and locationinterface with Gensler design teams to ensure the connections between the design process and change program are fully integratedwork closely with the Strategy Director and Project/Strategy Managers to ensure project success. Youare a self starter and quick learnerthrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and open environment that requires fast iterations and pivoting between collaborative and individual workare detailed oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of both text and graphic contenthave the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyare a clear communicator and presenter of ideas, findings and/or point of vieware an enthusiastic collaborator and are able to work successfully with a range of other disciplines who compliment your experience (e.g., graphic designers, copy writers, strategists, videographers, brand designers, etc)are a critical and creative thinkerinfuse empathy and behavioral analysis into your workare experienced with change management methodologies and activitiescan design graphically compelling content that can communicate new ideas in a creative and engaging mannerare a strong and persuasive writer, able to clearly and succinctly describe work process, communications, memos, etc.can create powerful and compelling narratives with strong written, visual, and graphic contentrespond proactively and thoughtfully to design critique and feedback from clients and colleaguesare comfortable with ambiguity and able to work with your team to forge a path on projects that may have vague parameters or frequently change/evolveYour background and experience5+ years of relevant professional experience and an undergraduate or master’s degree in organizational development, organizational psychology, business, design thinking, design strategy, architecture, interior design, environmental design, urban design, real estate, or similar fieldsA background in the design of the built environment (architecture, interior design, urban design, communications, etc.).A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent command of fundamental communication design including composition, information graphics, and persuasive writingProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required), and Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), and other visual communication toolsFluency with digital collaboration tools such as Miro, Microsoft Teams etc.Familiarity with design software such as Revit and AutoCAD is a plusFamiliarity with website development software/language is a plusTo be considered, please include 2-3 project examples and a cover letter as part of your submissionThe base salary range will be estimated between $80k-120k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.About Strategy at Gensler Gensler’s Strategy Practice is focused on exploring and defining how space, technology, services, and policy can create great experiences and support organizations’ best work.
