Job Overview

The Clerk of Works will act as the representative of the developer and will be employed by the Architect on a contract basis (approximately 12 months) to perform site supervisory duties, inspections, attend site meetings, coordinate building works, and ensure all site works/workmanship are of good quality and in compliance with the contract drawings, specifications, and approved drawings.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in the Clerk of Works capacity or at least 5 years experience as an on-site inspector;
• Experience in the supervision of work carried out under contracts for superstructure, curtain wall, and external cladding installation, as well as interior fitting out works;
• A Hong Kong Polytechnic or T.I. Diploma / HC in Building or Building Studies, or equivalent;
• Passes in Chinese and English Language (Syl. B) HKCEE or equivalent;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Good knowledge of construction details, curtain wall, external cladding details, and construction methods;
• 6 days per week.
