Communications Coordinator

Communications Coordinator AHMM is looking for a Communications Coordinator who will play an important part in the development of AHMM’s profile through the coordination of awards entries, organisation of professional photography, and support for press and PR activity. Based in London, this is a varied role for someone with a mix of excellent organisational and creative skills and some experience in a similar role. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating awards entries in collaboration with project teams Scheduling and coordinating professional photography Assisting with press and PR Archiving and circulating press cuttings The person will: Be highly organised Pay close attention to detail Have the ability to work with project teams across the practice, and with external people including clients, consultants and professional photographers Be able to meet deadlines and manage priorities  Be adept at choosing images, and understand how they work together with text and other project information such as drawings to tell a story Have excellent writing and editing skills Be a confident user of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and key MS Office applications Be able to understand and respond to requirements of awards and how to present projects in their best light. The successful candidate will have an interest in architecture and the built environment, and some experience of working in a similar or relevant role in an architectural or related practice or consultancy. They will be enthusiastic, adaptable, keen to build relationships and make the role their own.
