The ideal candidate should have experience with electrical items, details, and costs to be successful. Organize, maintain, and expand our Electrical Job Order Contracting unit cost database Research, update, and clarify item descriptions and costs including labor, material, and equipment based on various markets and construction types Identify relationships between construction/estimating variables, items, quantities, and costs to create assemblies of multiple items based on calculated relationships Work with field Project Managers to determine appropriate item selections based on scope of work, clarify & review item costs, and add new items Collaborate with other estimators, project managers, architects, engineers, and team members May handle other responsibilities as needed Flexible work schedules! Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Thorough knowledge of electrical estimating and construction means, methods, and costs Ability to apply CSI MasterFormat and UniFormat coding structures Ability to adopt and utilize multiple software platforms Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and time management skills .
