locationsShanghai, Chinatime typeFull timeposted onPosted 30+ Days Agojob requisition idR-11550Your RoleThis exciting role will work in the architecture studio on large, high end and custom design projects, providing design leadership by giving clients an excellent service both on design and delivery, continually provide design solutions, improving design quality, represent Gensler architecture design to clients and the design community, mentoring designers in their careers and working profitably for the firm. What You Will DoPartner with Directors and team members on conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design developmentCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutionsProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings (as needed)Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationDeveloping and responsible for projects budgetsCoordination with technical teamParticipation in business development effortYour Qualifications12+ years professional experience including proven track record of leading the design of large-scale projects such as, corporate headquarters, commercial or mixed-use projectsBArch/MArch or foreign equivalent, Architectural licensedMust understand trends in large, shell / core architectural designPossess a high level of visual and verbal communication skills and a high level of freehand and rendering skillsHave the ability to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadershipBe capable of using 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketch up, Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator, and PowerPoint Knowledge of the total project process including fee and team management, schedules and budgetsREVIT is a plusLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
