locationsToronto, Canadatime typeFull timeposted onPosted 30+ Days Agojob requisition idR-10353Your Role As a Gensler Designer, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to participate in the architectural design of functionally beautiful buildings and spaces for clients.What You Will DoPartner with Design Director(s) and team members on conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design developmentCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutionsProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings (as needed)Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture10+ years of experience as an architectural designer, lifestyle experience is preferredMust be proficient in RevitKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, In DesignKnowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codesStrong knowledge of the design processOutstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices requiredLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
