Your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for Hospitality / Lifestyle clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. What You Will Do Perform interior design assignments that include interpreting client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, customer journey mapping and construction documentation Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fixtures, finish palettes, and lighting Generate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction Design and detail hospitality fixtures Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts Work with external consultants, product representatives, and fabricators Collaborate with our strategists, brand and digital experience designers to create holistic design solutions Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school 10+ years of interior design experience Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, and other computer design programs (AutoCAD, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Grasshopper) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas **The base salary will be estimated between $108,000 - 132,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
