Are you a trained structural engineer looking for an opportunity that caters to your lifestyle and your life’s demands? The world of work has changed forever, and Price & Myers has created a ‘remote studio’ model that affords the right person the ability to work from wherever they want, whenever they want. The Price & Myers Remote Studio is a community of professionals working remotely from within the UK, but sponsored and supported by one of our full-time, in-house engineering groups in London. You’ll receive ‘parcels’ of project work to be completed at your pace, from anywhere in the UK, at any time you like. The work might typically include structural design of artwork, design of balcony and cladding systems, modular OSB buildings, even residential back extensions. You won’t be at the beck-and-call of contractors or need to attend any on-site meetings. And you’ll always have an experienced engineer to answer your queries and assist should you need. These roles might also suit those currently undertaking freelance structural engineering work.
