Financial Systems Administrator/ Data Analyst

Overview:

At Zaha Hadid Architects, we are seeking a Financial Systems Administrator/ Data Analyst to join our London team on a permanent contract. The purpose of the role is to maintain the system, data, configuration, training and reporting inside of Deltek PIM. Develop and produce Power BI Dashboards. 

This role reports into the Senior Financial Planning Analysis Manager. You will work and build key relationships with:
Internal: Accounts, Acquisitions, HR, IT, Project Coordinators and employees.
External: Deltek and related systems vendors

Main responsibilities:

Financial Systems Admin:

• Manage user and project setup 
• Maintain the system database by capturing and validating all required data
• Lead the development and delivery of systems training to users 
• Work with users and Deltek to troubleshoot system problems 
• Support enhancing and maintaining Deltek products to meet business requirements.

Data Analysis:

• Create new reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
• Improve the efficiency of existing Power BI dashboards and data models 
• Add automation to reports and dashboards using Power Automate
• Produce weekly/monthly reports on company business activity and financial performance

Admin:

• Data Collection
• Other ad hoc administrative tasks

Skills Required

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• University degree in Data Science/IT/Maths/Accounting or in a related subject
• 1-2 years’ experience developing Power BI dashboards 
• Experience with DAX queries and measures in Power BI
• Good working knowledge of relational databases preferably in Power BI 
• Ability to identify problems/performance reporting issues and recommend solutions, with the ability to rewrite reports if needed
• Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize and understand large amounts of interrelated data 
• Proven MS Excel experience at an Advanced level 
• Strong numerical skills & data entry accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and strong document presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills and organisation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Desired skills and qualifications

Desirable

• Experience of Deltek PIM or other similar project accounting packages
• Experience with SQL, R, Python or other data science tools
