WATG is hiring a Graphic Designer for our office in Singapore. ROLE The Graphic Designer translates strategic direction into high-quality design within the global brand identity. The role creates designs and products for multi-channel use in our internal and external campaigns, projects, and communications. As a forward-thinking company, with problem-solving at our core, the Graphic Designer will be called upon to think innovatively about how to engage viewers at a glance and work creatively to develop visual concepts that captivate, inform, inspire, and persuade audiences to think, feel or act. The Graphic Designer is a member of the marcomms community and works closely with other graphic designers and Bid coordinators across regional teams. The position reports directly to the Global Creative Lead and is a member of the global marketing team. RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and delivers high-quality graphic design across printed and digital channels, including artworking, storyboarding, concept presentations, achieving sign-off, preparing for print or digital publishing Partners closely with the marketing team in the APAC region, working across a broad range of media Collaborates with people from across the organization to develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals and are on-brand Supports the APAC project design studios, including Advisory, Planning and Landscape, Architecture, and Wimberly Interiors Obtains input from management and works independently and cooperatively on multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets Works closely with the regional marketing and global brand and communications teams to deliver campaigns that are impactful and current Implements the visual expression and protection of the brand across digital and printed channels Adopts and applies consistent brand guidelines and standards, creating and cascading templates and guidelines, and providing training Identifies ways in which graphic design can add value to the global brand and how to align with the sector and regional business objectives Keeps abreast of new developments, trends, and technologies concerning the use of graphic design, and recommends where there may be opportunities for the firm Contributes to the continual improvement of the global brand and communications standards and processes REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field from an accredited school of design 6+ years of design experience (post-graduation), working in the field of graphic design for a professional service provider Expert in design software: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Familiar with design software and technologies: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, Flash; coding knowledge, AI Strong aptitude to learn new software modeling and animation programs Fluent in digital and print media production with an expert knowledge of current design software and skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to completion Self-directed mentality with confidence to try new ideas and concepts, and a willingness to learn and ask questions Ability to multi-task, meeting tight deadlines A strong design sensibility to deliver creative solutions and bring concepts to life Strong at storyboarding and able to create powerful presentations, with a keen eye for design aesthetics and detail Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale, user-understanding and empathy, an understanding of the brand, and keeping with current culture and design trends Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Excellent typographic skills with editorial flair and information design skills Experience with the built environment, and comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans, and elevations are not required but preferred Ability to envision, storyboard, and create movies using animations, images, and videos Willingness to teach basic graphic design skills to interns or admin staff *Please include a copy of your CV and portfolio to be considered for this position. #LI-SW1 Qualifications Skills Behaviors : Motivations : Education Experience Licenses & Certifications
