Job Description:
We are an Architectural firm with over 30 years of experience, working on architecture and urban design projects. MacCreanor Lavington has offices in both Rotterdam and London with a total of about 90 employees, 30 of which are in Rotterdam.
Due to ongoing development, we are looking for an HR Business Partner for our Rotterdam office to optimize our organization, processes and team.
As an HR Manager at MacCreanor Lavington, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, retaining and developing an engaged & inclusive team. Together with the Head of HR based in London, you will further shape the HR strategy according to the business needs. You will work on a tactical level to further optimize & professionalize HR, design HR practices and tooling. You will also work with the management and leadership team to drive a culture that ensures Maccreanor Lavington is a great place to work. And next to that, you work on an operational level to deliver an effective HR operation and act as first point of contact for the team and management.
We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering a first-class employee experience. A flexible and culturally sensitive attitude is required, as well as a keen eye for structure. You would need to be an assertive self-starter, since the position is relatively solistic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Further introducing new, or optimizing & professionalizing current HR processes, such as Recruitment, Performance Management and Growth & Development
- Collaborate with management & HR in London to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business objectives, and further harmonize policies between the London & Rotterdam office
- Developing HR tools for the organization, such as a supportive HRIS
- Guide, advice and support managers in HR matters, and act as a first point of contact for employees
- Work together with the EDI Task Group to work towards an even more inclusive work environment
- Keep track of a clear HR operation, in line with regulations and supportive of our international character (visa’s etc.)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- You have at least 5 years of HR work experience, preferably within a project-oriented organization and/or international environment.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources
- You are hands-on and well able to work and shape HR independently
- You are approachable, proactive and persistent.
- You are up-to-date on the Dutch employment law and experienced in employing an international team (IND related work)
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Benefits:
- Salary €3.566 to €5,022 (scale 6 & 7 of CAO), based on experience
- 32 to 40 hours per week
- Working conditions according to the CLA for architectural offices
