Your RoleAs a Junior Interior Designer, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique professional environments, providing design support for completion and execution of a variety of exciting hospitality and retail design projects.What You Will DoContribute to all project phases: project strategy, test fits, schematic plans and conceptual designs for schematic design, refine design solutions for design development, collaborating with multiple disciplines.Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations.Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, and specifications.Assist in managing team and client communication.Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to achieve project objectives. Contribute to our office and firm culture, initiatives, mentorship and talent development.Support the Principals to develop the client, contractor, and design team communications, developing and maintaining strong external and internal relationships.Participates in selection of FF&E color palettes & material presentations and generate specifications.Participate in exciting design and research projects and bring a new perspective to what we do for our clients.Support project sustainability targets throughout project phases and actively engage in delivering them.Study sustainable design strategies in every project stage and investigate solutions to sustainable design challenges.Work collaboratively with the team to optimize sustainability performance through design iterations and research.Engage in climate focused analysis and studies for each project.Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.Your QualificationsBachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture3-6 years’ experience of Design, through all stages of design and development.A good working knowledge of Revit is essential.Demonstrable presentation and client relations skillsExcellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.Excellent collaboration skills, good self-organization, and strong ability to work in a team environment.Has a good understanding of FF&E, color and material specification and development.Knowledge in sustainable design principles required.LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA or other rating systems accreditation preferable.Demonstrate a collaborative and integrated approach towards achieving high sustainability project goals.Motivated to grow knowledge and experience in sustainability on a personal and a team level.Your Design Technology QualificationsEssential Good working knowledge and experience in Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, data extracts and project delivery.Good knowledge and experience with real-time rendering processes, and material creation & management within the context of integrated BIM and parametric workflows.
