What You Will DoLead interior design teams on projectsCollaborate on hospitality interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedulesDevelop space planning concepts and generate program documentsParticipate in selection of hospitality furniture systems and specificationsProvide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionWork with consultants, hotel brands, developers, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectivesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationContribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programsParticipate in business development and marketing effortsAssures design conforms to contractual agreement with clientEstablish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationshipsYour Qualifications10+ years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on hospitality interiorsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited schoolRegistered Architect or Certified Interior DesignerRecognized in the hospitality industry as a leader in hotel and resort interior designHave an established clientele baseProficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other modeling software programsProficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong knowledge of the design process, knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
