What You Will DoLead interior design teams on projectsCollaborate on interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedulesDevelop space planning concepts and generate program documentsParticipate in selection of furniture systems and specificationsProvide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionWork with consultants, developers, dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectivesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationContribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programsParticipate in business development and marketing effortsAssures design conforms to contractual agreement with clientEstablish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationshipsYour Qualifications10+ years of experience as an interior designer; life sciences experience requiredBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited schoolRegistered Architect or Certified Interior DesignerProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other modeling software programsProficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong knowledge of the design process from FF&E selection to construction document preparationGraphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideasStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsAll applications must include a portfolio for full consideration.**The base salary range will be estimated between $90k -$100k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
