Oversees the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting, compliance with law and policy in respective international offices. Possesses excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Manages the firm’s resources by maintaining and enhancing the accuracy of accounting records and best practices with proficiency, fluency and aptitude. Teaches and mentors staff and effectively embodies and expresses the firm’s values and mission.Responsibilities:▪ Reviews monthly trend analysis for all international offices to help timely identification of issues to improve accuracy on reports ▪ Reconciles balance sheet on monthly basis both accrual and cash; reviews JV database for proper reporting and reviews international payroll data for posting ▪ Leads the intercompany billing process, labor cross charges and clean-up of AR balances on monthly basis ▪ Provides Financials and detail GL for tax compliance for Australia, Canada, Macau and Hong Kong ▪ Assists with the US audit ▪ Manages audits for all international audits ▪ Helps the GL team with review of our processes and guidelines to identify opportunities to be more consistent and accurate in our internal controls and general reporting ▪ Oversees daily operations of international offices including coordination of tax support and payments ▪ Coordinates financial data properly matching international systems ▪ Provides support to directors of international office(s) ▪ Demonstrates a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information ▪ Collaborates to enhance the firm’s existing accounting procedures and internal controls and seek opportunities to improve accounting operational efficiency and effectiveness ▪ Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirementsQualifications:▪ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience ▪ CPA license or recognized local accounting qualification preferred ▪ Typically with 8+ years of experience ▪ Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word ▪ Experience in Deltek Vision preferred ▪ Proficient with financial analysis and reporting skills including the ability to communicate results including risks and opportunities ▪ Advanced knowledge of accounting, US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP principles, and data analytics ▪ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff ▪ Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality, accurate results ▪ Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time ▪ Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and integrity ▪ Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing ▪ Ability to manage team with diplomatic leadership style which puts value on relationships and collaboration, both internal and external ▪ Ability to problem solve and apply appropriate solutions ▪ Ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work ▪ Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality▪ Travel may be required#LI-KT1If you currently work for HKS, please submit your application via the Internal Careers Portal.HKS is an EEO/AA Employer: M/F/Disabled/Veteran
