UNStudio is a dynamic and innovative architectural firm that is pioneering the future of design. We are seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to join our evolving Research & Innovation team. In this role, you will directly report to the Director leading the Research & Innovation team and collaborate closely with Directors, internal strategic initiatives, HR Learning and Development Specialist, and the Communications Department. As a Knowledge Management Specialist at UNStudio, your mission is to drive the evolution of our knowledge management strategy, introducing innovative approaches and practices. You will be responsible for organizing and making knowledge accessible and easy to find within a creative and dynamic environment. While a background in architecture is not required, your expertise in knowledge management and your ability to create a lasting impact will be key. You'll thrive in a goal-oriented, persistent, and obstacle-overcoming environment, where your hands-on approach and passion for making a difference are highly valued. While based in Amsterdam, you will work with UNS global offices to strengthen our knowledge sharing capabilities and initiatives and collectively leverage our expertise. Key Responsibilities: Create and put in place an efficient knowledge strategy Collaborate with Project and R&I sub-teams to identify knowledge gaps and envision steps to bridge them – either through developing internal learning content/training or external resources In collaboration with Project and R&I teams identify opportunities to integrate knowledge management aspects into an architectural workflow Foster innovation and change in our creative environment Exhibit goal-oriented persistence and overcome obstacles Develop, implement and maintain standardized processes in order to capture and store lessons learnt and other key areas of knowledge from projects making it accessible on central platforms for all UNStudio offices Explore different projects to improve knowledge in design Replicate good practice and proven solutions across different teams
Key Responsibilities
Role Requirements: You have previously successfully implemented a knowledge management system. Knowledge of the AEC field is a plus. Proficiency in identifying and resolving knowledge gaps through innovative and scalable solutions. Interest in knowledge base technologies and information management principles. Basic understanding of computational tools to integrate knowledge management into architectural workflows. Programming and event organization experience focused on knowledge sharing. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Exceptional consultative, facilitation, and engagement skills to influence, motivate, and align diverse teams for effective knowledge transfer and sharing. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build networks across teams. Interested?
