We are currently seeking a Lighting Student Intern to join our team. Learn more about being an intern with HOK St. Louis in this video . During this internship, you will work with a project team to assist overall efforts of completing various project phases. Participates in current lighting projects, with tasks encompassing presentation drawings, physical and computer modeling, photometric calculations, detail documentation, team coordination and site visits. Produces CAD and BIM/REVIT documentation of lighting plans and details. May prepare presentation material and/or imagery. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service. Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop. Proficiency in MS Office. Proficiency in Revit/BIM. Ability to effectively meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work in team environment. The following skills are a plus, but not required: Knowledge about sustainability and LEED preferred. Knowledge of AGI32 & lighting computational software (AGI32, Elumtools, Radiance). Proficiency in graphic design and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite) Qualifications Currently enrolled in lighting and/or electrical related Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture or architectural engineering university program with at least one year remaining.
