The HKS Innovation sector is offering a unique opportunity for a post-doctorate fellow to study how environmental and human metrics come together to inform design and real-estate strategy. The fellow will spend two (2) years developing tools and methodologies for continuous occupancy evaluation and test these tools on the HKS real estate portfolio, as well as select client projects. The goal is to benchmark performance within the 26 offices of the HKS portfolio to determine best outcomes for sustainability, human performance, well-being, retention, overall engagement and culture. At a time when cost of construction is on the rise, the economy is uncertain, and capital assets have to serve as strategic assets, AEC firms must determine, with rigor, the value they bring to corporations, societies, and our planet.
