Gensler’s Digital Experience Design (DXD) practice is positioned at the intersection of physical and digital design and specializes in the creation of immersive experiences, hybrid workplace experiences, and connected urban experiences. Gensler’s highly collaborative culture has a robust global network of over 300 marketers and communicators across the firm who collaborate on strategies and tactics for positioning our brand. Your RoleWe are seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join us as a Marketing Director for DXD. This role will partner closely with our DXD practice area leaders to develop and deliver high-impact external positioning with our clients and future talent. As a passionate storyteller, you will strategize and create content that illuminates our incredible work with our clients, such as case studies, blogs, speaking decks, and awards submissions. What You Will Do Strategize and deliver a strategic content plan based on a deep understanding of DXD portfolio, services, and practice leaders Measure success through campaign data and business development efforts Establish a key messaging toolkit to be used and amplified in brand publications, website content, award submissions, speaking engagements and shared with internal stakeholders Partner with practitioners to develop thought leadership collateral (blogs, white papers, case studies, webinars, and events) Partner with global Marketing Studio to update campaigns and digital channels with DXD’s best-of content, including case studies, media hits, thoughts on leadership, etc. Maintain clear and constant communications with DXD practice leaders Act as a liaison and high-level counsel on behalf of DXD with our global network of marketing and communications teams Develop and implement an awards strategy Develop distribution strategy and content for internal and client-facing newsletters Keep a finger on the pulse of the competitor's landscape Your Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in a marketing and/or communications position; experience with an architecture/design firm or agency is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or adjacent field Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong graphic design sensibilityAbility to lead strategy conversations confidently and collaborate closely with leadership on integrated communications and storytelling Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including an understanding of social media, web analytics, SEO, A/B testing, tagging, and campaign management Self-motivated with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools; Salesforce platform is a plus **The compensation for this position is estimated between $140k - $160k, plus bonuses and benefits and contingent upon experience.Life at GenslerGensler is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
