The Senior Marketing Graphic Designer is a position on the marketing team that brings with it a level of insight and strategy for project pursuits, working with multiple Principals, Firm Leaders, and the Regional Marketing team in developing Gensler’s approach to specific clients and opportunities. This position requires you to write, design, and prepare collateral materials, qualification packages, presentations, and new business proposals with a focus on new acquisitions and community outreach. Reporting to Office Leadership and Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate is a positive, creative individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do
Work with principals, senior staff, and regional marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, award submissions, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards.
Participate in and champion strategy and planning sessions.
Create strong, innovative designs while adhering to brand guidelines and incorporating best-in-class design principles.
Develop new materials to support business development activities.
Facilitate graphic design support for workshops and strategy meetings that contribute to the positioning and increase the visibility of the LATAM market.
Coordinate with the communications team on activities such as photography sessions, and update Gensler communication channels such as website, social media, editorial, etc.
Understand and learn Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and firm-wide capabilities.
Manage other responsibilities as assigned.
Be an integrated Marketing Team member.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing.
15+ years of experience in Graphic Design or Marketing roles, preferably with a design, architecture, or professional services background. Desirable experience with premium and luxury brands.
A high degree of competency with Adobe programs, especially InDesign, is a must.
100% bilingual English/Spanish, well-written with excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral.
Ability to provide strategic thinking and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches.
Strong understanding of design principles and current design trends and technologies.
Highly creative individual with experience in communication design.
Fast learner and willing to be in constant learning of new abilities.
Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment.
