Marketing Professional

We are currently seeking a Marketing Professional to join our team. As a Marketing Professional, you will be responsible for producing RFIs, graphic products and services, as well as RFPs to showcase HOK expertise. You will manage and ensure the delivery of top quality, on-time, and effective submittals of proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing input and collaboration with the marketing manager, management committee, and practice leaders to help establish priorities and protocols for responding to RFPs and other marketing-related inquiries.
- Providing or directing the initial mock-up of proposals and writing portions of the proposals as appropriate.
- Establishing and managing timelines and assignments as needed to complete effective submittals.
- Writing and/or updating new project and personnel resumes for marketing purposes.
- Coordinating or obtaining information needed from consultant firms to be included in proposals or presentations.
- Seeking and incorporating new references into marketing submittals.
- Coordinating services of outside graphics and reprographic vendors for marketing purposes.
- Overseeing the maintenance of marketing files, including up-to-date files of submittals.
- Interacting with HOK marketing staff in Corporate and other offices and focus groups to obtain/exchange information as needed.
- Developing, writing, and managing production of specialty brochures, mailers, announcements, etc.
- Attending pre-proposal conferences, professional meetings, or other marketing-related events as appropriate.
- Helping HOK develop and manage new technology in marketing and its use for the firm’s advantage.
- Assisting with cold calls or lead-finding research as appropriate.
- Supervising active upkeep and use of marketing databases, including projects, resumes, holiday card lists, consultant lists, etc.
- Ensuring that supplies and equipment for marketing efforts are maintained and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
- Fostering a commitment to external and internal client service.
Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite applications—InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred.
Qualifications
Equivalent of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a technical-related field.
5 plus years of marketing experience in the architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, or real estate development industry.
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, education, and location. The reasonably expected annual salary range for this position in Washington D.C. is $65,000 - $80,000.
