Part 2 Architectural Assistant Location London Job Type Full time Salary dRMM salary band 3 (£30,600 – 37,150, dependent on experience) We are looking for motivated and talented Part II Architectural Assistants to join our team in London to work on a variety of projects. Deadline: open/ongoing; but we encourage early applications Rather than specialising in one sector or project stage, you will be exposed to different stages of design from early concepts to completion, through design development and technical design. A high level of design competency is required. You will be expected to work as part of a project team; research and develop architectural and technical solutions and coordinate designs with other consultants; work with BIM; generate CAD drawings and schedules, reports, and visualisations and build architectural models. You will have excellent English communication skills, be well-organised and have a proven track record of working both independently and as part of a team. You will show great flexibility and versatility to work on various project types, at various stages and scales. You will demonstrate good ability to learn from your peers as well as independently. Good knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is a minimum requirement; knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Vectorworks/ Autocad and rendering software is advantageous. We have a very sociable and relaxed studio atmosphere, and our architectural assistants play a full and active role within it, with opportunities to take on responsibility within projects and for extracurricular events and activities. We offer up to 2 days of homeworking per week, with core working hours to allow flexible start and finish times.
