You will coordinate and work with a global team of Architects, Designers and Design Managers across all borders to complete unique projects. As a Project Architect at Gensler´s Borderless Lab, you must actively participate in all project phases, including documentation and construction administration. Innovative thinking balanced with the ability to present real-world technical solutions to new design challenges. You will need to coordinate with a team of consultants to deliver architectural projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical insight to drive client projects from concept through build. Must thrive with personal responsibility and accountability but embody and embrace open communication and team-oriented success. This position is to work from our office in Monterrey. What You Will DoManage all phases of projects, from project documentation set-up and construction administration. Manage project schedules, budgets, and set-up with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. Guarantee the delivery of a project's architectural and/or technical aspects.Provide project team coordination, specification, and material selections required for construction.Resolution of complex technical and design issues during document preparation and construction administration. Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentsParticipating in preconstruction phases, RFIs and value engineering. Participating in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality control and submittal reviews, Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.Manage client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape civil consultants and/or involved parties. Support communication between the project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.Review technical documents to ensure accuracy.Oversee the construction administration of project assignments with a focus on managing design intent and quality control. Ability to maintain design integrity, construction quality, and supervision of materials that meet international standards.Fulfill other assigned responsibilities.Your QualificationsBachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent6+ years of project experience in an architectural practiceProficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, and construction administration software. 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written, with excellent verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of national and international building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures Mid-scale to large construction experience Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skillsConstruction documentation and/or design detail development experienceAbility to handle difficult situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligence.Experience leading, managing, and mentoring multiple project teams.Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on various project types.Must be able to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skillsLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
