What You Will DoParticipate in all phases of designCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectivesManage project team and coordination of consultantsProduce BIM models and construction drawingsResolve challenging technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical and constructible solutionsFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentEffective communicator, collaborative and team-consciousProvide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff membersParticipate in office culture and initiatives Your QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school Licensure required10+ years of experience in the profession of architectural designStrong experience working with Revit and RhinoProficiency with SketchUp, 3D Max, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferredExperience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultantsExperience working directly with contractorsExperience resolving complex technical and design issuesExperience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictionsUnderstanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be doneUnderstanding of sustainable and universal design conceptsStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
