You will be successful because you are highly organized and passionate about ensuring the financial health of assigned projects throughout the entire project life cycle, from project due diligence through client invoicing and collections. Join a team of highly creative, collaborative colleagues and partner with Gensler project managers to ensure our projects are not only beautiful, but financially sound.What You Will DoWork closely with Design Managers, clients and consultants to discuss billing and financial issuesInterpret financial data in contracts and billings and accurately convey themFollow up and assist with collection effortsMaintain and monitor project specific budgets / spreadsheets/reportsDetermine and set up best billing terms and invoice formatsPrepare and process invoices in line with project contractual arrangementsAdhere to the monthly invoicing deadlinesRetrieve and match back-up to invoices where necessaryMeet regularly with Design Managers and Studio Directors to review schedule, billing, held time and collection issuesPrepare journal entries and research General ledger issuesDevelop understanding of our accounting software so that you are seen as an expert and a resource to staffCross-train and work closely with other team members so that we function as a cohesive and high performing team.
