This person will be the first point of contact for our clients, vendors, and staff. The receptionist represents Gensler values and professionalism and demonstrates our high level of client service. The ideal candidate is passionate about communication and service and thrives in an energetic team environment. What You Will DoMeet and greet staff, clients and visitors Handle incoming calls (screen calls, forward calls, take/distribute messages)Maintain conference room schedule Maintain readiness and tidiness of conference rooms in reception areaManage visitor coordination (enter visitors into building log, provide directions when necessary) Keep reception area and reception pantry tidy (remove materials, wipe up spills, spot clean where necessary).Assists other administrative staff with overflow work when necessaryPrepare weekly briefing and distribute to office Manage other responsibilities as necessary Your Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in a receptionist role for a busy office preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask is essentialSelf-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skillsExperience working directly with senior staffStrong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple deadlinesAbility to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced work environmentProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Suite (InDesign), Bluebeam preferredMarketing/Communications background a plusLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
