Your Role You are a developer with a passion and experience in delivering production code in the Design/Architecture industry. You can deliver high-quality code that is modular and extensible by your colleagues because it’s human readable, well-commented, and thoughtfully architected. You are comfortable writing code that can interact with the application and display layers. You have a passion for code clarity, extensibility, and scalability. You have a deep understanding of BIM modeling and associated challenges. You are open to learning and enjoy teaching what you know. Essential: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering and / or architecture or equivalent years of experience Deep knowledge of computational geometry (topology optimization, medial axis, point clouds, rationalization, panelization, Delaunay meshes, etc) Deep knowledge of and proven practical experience in Computational Design applications such as Grasshopper, Dynamo etc. Experience with Performance Design applications such as Radiance, Energy+, OpenFoam, Ladybug Tools, Diva etc. Experience/ability to build and deploy Grasshopper/Dynamo scripts & plugins High level of proficiency in C#, Python or pyRevit Good knowledge of RhinoCommon, RhinoCompute, Grasshopper SDKs, and Revit API Deep understanding of software interoperability routines Comfortable working with JSON and XML data formats Experience/ability with custom UI at the application level Comfortable working with using Git + source control in a team environment Good code hygiene and DRY approach Good graphic design and storytelling skills Desirable:Experience in building Web based frontend UIs using Javascript frameworks like VueJs/ReactJs Experience in building Rest/GraphQL APIs using Go/NodeJs/C#/Python Experience in working with OpenGL layer and display namespacesExperience with UI/UX development process Experience in PowerBI/Tableau or other Data Visualization tools Bonus:Experience in Tensorflow, pix2pix or other Machine Learning/AI frameworks Fair understanding of UNIX and container / cluster computing technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Working knowledge of the Forge SDK Experience working with game development engines like Unity, Unreal Experience in various methodologies to produce AR/VR/MR visualization outputs To be considered, please submit portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format.Life at GenslerGensler Asia-Pacific and Middle East is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through our Five Strategies.
