As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small- to large-scale projects, research and theory. The atmosphere within each of our offices is international, multidisciplinary, design-oriented and ambitious, but also open, non-hierarchical, team-based and friendly, with attention to personal well-being, knowledge development, and career planning. We are currently looking for a Senior Architect to join our German office. The ideal candidate should have effective management and team leadership skills, strong design sensibilities, excellent technical skills, a flexible mentality, and experience managing all stages of a project, from concept through to construction. The Position: You will be focusing on various aspects of architectural design, ranging from research and theory, to a spectrum of programmatic scales and typologies (See our Projects page). This position will require you to continue growing your current responsibly level while helping train and mentor junior staff. Becoming a self-guided professional that never stops learning and continues teaching others is key for the culture of the office.
Key Responsibilities
The Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture Wide experience as an Architect and Project Lead within a dynamic, international environment 10+ years of experience Experienced with design stages LPH 1-5 with proven track record in stages LPH 3-5 Knowledge of 2D and 3D Modelling in Revit is a plus Highly motivated, self-guiding Willing to contribute to our collective knowledge culture Fluent in German (presenting, speaking, reading, writing) and English as a second language Location in our Studio in Amsterdam or Frankfurt / Hybrid working from Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf Direct availability a big plus We look forward to receive your CV/resume + portfolio + short motivation letter.
