As a Senior Designer in the field of Interior Design, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the design drawings/specification to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and innovative interior spaces. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire design process, collaborating with clients, and ensuring that projects meet high standards of quality and creativity. This position requires a blend of leadership, design expertise, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design concepts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry trends.
Oversee the creation of design presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
Stay abreast of emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into projects.
Oversee all aspects of the design process, from concept development to project completion.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate interior design seamlessly into overall project objectives.
Ensure the highest standards of design quality and creativity are maintained throughout the design process.
Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Implement and maintain design standards and best practices.
Inspire a team of interior designers, architects, and other design professionals.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to design solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development.
Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure the successful execution of design concepts.
Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Conduct factory inspections and site visit coordination.
Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for interior spaces.
Maintain strong client relationships and seek opportunities for additional projects or services.
Must have knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp; BIM knowledge will be an additional asset.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture Program.
Minimum 10 years of related experience working in a design studio in a similar position, preferably with a recognized award-winning international interior design practice.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Hand sketching skills.
AutoCAD 2015 (mandatory).
SketchUp (desirable).
Photoshop (mandatory).
Revit/BIM (desirable).
Adobe InDesign (desirable).
Illustrator (desirable).
