Initiate and create detailed design concepts with the ability to develop functional requirements and project-design criteria. Exhibit understanding of leadership in the architectural design process and integration of standalone interior projects and design concepts. Lead interior design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement. Use graphic storytelling to advance the project delivery and scope. Participate in marketing efforts, lead design presentations to prospective clients, and develops successful client relationships. Prepare client presentation packages, external publications, and award submissions. Review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual. Lead collaborative teams in design reviews, charrettes, and pin-ups. Demonstrate strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance and design ideas. Mentor staff. Be accountable for effective coordination with clients, partners, and consultants throughout the entire project. To join us, you should have: A professional degree in Interior Design, or related discipline. 10+ years of experience and China working experience is preferred. Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred. Strong design portfolio. Familiarity with industry standards, relevant national design codes and regulations. Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff. Experience in all phases and aspects of a project, ideally with experience in healthcare, education and corporate interior design. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English or Chinese (being able to master both is a plus). Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
