Senior Interior Designer

Senior Interior Designer ZGF is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for the Vancouver office. We are looking for strong leaders and thoughtful designers with excellent communication and technical skills to join our vibrant and diverse culture of designers, planners, strategists, and industry thought leaders. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm with a focus on interiors for healthcare.As a Senior Interior Designer, you will….Collaborate with and/or manage teams to generate and develop design conceptsClearly communicate design concepts visually and verbally to teams and clientsDevelop those design ideas into lifeHave a passion for programming, planning, materiality, detailing and furnishings Manage and mentor team members from concept design through construction administrationFoster and maintain relationships with clients and consultantsAssist in developing fee proposals and project schedulesAssist in projecting staffing needs to ensure design successParticipate in business development activities and advise in marketing pursuitsQualifications:10+ years of related experience, with a focus on interiors for healthcare, hospitality experience is considered an asset A professional Interior Design or Architectural degree from an accredited institutionNCIDQ certification and/or architectural licensure is strongly preferredComfortable in detailing and execution of Revit construction documents with minimal supervisionCommunication, leadership, and organizational/managerial expertiseProficient 3D modeling and rendering abilities in Revit and Enscape is strongly preferredSubstantial experience in commercial office and workplace interiorsLEED, WELL, or FITWEL accreditation are strongly preferredHave solid knowledge of interior code requirements and building systemsExperience with higher education and corporate workplace projects is desiredExperience in workplace strategy and consulting is a plusApply With: Cover letterResumePortfolioApplications without a cover letter, resume and portfolio will not be reviewed. Portfolios should be a link to URL or one PDF attachment.
