What You Will DoArchitect, deploy, and manage resilient web applications and services on AWS and Microsoft AzureKeep servers and services up to date with security patches, certificate updates and hotfixesTriage alerts and system anomalies to recommend and collaborate over changes to improve the application infrastructureSuggest improvements based on technology progression, best practices and changing requirements.Deploy and maintain virtual and various hardware platforms, implemented through infrastructure-as-codeSupport Backup and Disaster Recovery/Replication platforms across on-premises and cloud, performing routine resilience drillsAuthor and implement intermediate to advanced PowerShell scriptsManage and resolve user IT issues in a Tier 1 & 2 capacityParticipate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve unplanned service outagesCollaborate with development teams to deploy infrastructure and tools to support client requirements effectively and reliablyWork with Client Success team members to troubleshoot external client issuesCollaborate with staff, industry partners, clients and vendors regarding complex issues and facilitate diagnostics, troubleshooting and resolutionCreate and maintain documentation of systems and environmentsLeverage a change control system, authoring change requests prior to production implementationPartner with Gensler's Security Operations team to complete client security questionnaires, contribute to the Firm’s security goals and provide supporting documentation for auditAdditional tasks as requiredYour QualificationsAn employee-owned company, Gensler is social, collaborative and entrepreneurial - authority comes from the team, not a given individual.
