Are you a Senior Architect with a passion for low-energy design and Net Zero Architecture? This year, our client is celebrating 40 years of excellence in sustainable and inclusive design across residential and commercial sectors. With a portfolio spanning healthcare, leisure, hospitality, sports structures, and heritage/conservation, they're truly making their mark on the industry.
Now, they're looking for a Senior Architect like you, with a strong Passivhaus/retrofit background, to take the lead in their London office and projects. And the best part? You'll be on track to become Associate Director/Head of Sustainability within 6 months and join the board within 12-18 months.
As a key member of the team, you'll be the go-to expert on sustainability for all projects. You'll take charge of multiple projects, manage your own team, and be the main point of contact for clients. Plus, you'll play a crucial role in the running of the practice and have a hand in developing new business opportunities.
Here's what you'll need:
A sustainability-focused background with strong experience in this type of role
A relevant architectural degree and eligibility to work in the UK
Technical prowess, with Passivhaus/low energy experience in both residential and commercial projects
Retrofit project experience in residential and/or commercial settings
Solid project management skills and experience leading small teams
Contract and financial awareness
A good understanding of Approved Documents and British Standards, including Fire Safety Bill
Ideally, experience with frameworks contracts and contributions towards bids
Business development experience (a huge plus!)
Strong client-facing skills and on-site experience
Revit skills are a must
