Clients and projects span across global corporations, retail, healthcare, and hospitality industries, and Gensler is looking for someone who has the ability to pivot and provide support in all areas.Your RoleYou will work with clients across industries, providing data-driven insights that drive and support client engagements related to employee or customer experience, sustainability, real estate, market/brand positioning, and other types of projects. Your experienced with insight gathering (from both end users and stakeholders) and synthesis to inform future vision and strategy for our clients. You will think holistically with an ability to consider all aspects of the experience, including technology, culture, events, operations, and communications. You will be a creative thinker who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys problem solving. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, open, collaborative environment and be able to prioritize tasks across multiple projects in different phases of completion.About Strategy at GenslerGensler’s Strategy Practice Area is focused on how space, technology, policies, and services support the changing nature of work and learning. Our multidisciplinary team works with a wide range of organizations including major Corporations, Healthcare and Cultural Institutions, Developers, and Universities. We use in-depth user research and engagement to explore and develop strategies that enable our clients to meet their objectives. We partner with local and global design teams to conceptualize and implement creative solutions that support our client’s business needs. In parallel, we help our clients manage change to ensure new ideas take root and to build resilience and capability that sustains.What You Will DoDevelop processes and methodologies with which to understand quantitative and qualitative aspects of user behavior, needs, and preferences to inform design decisionsAnalyze complex real estate development, asset portfolios, and operations to determine highest and best use, market values and advise on strategic initiativesTranslate findings into client-specific strategies that address strategic business goals, specifically in the areas of real estate and facilities, workplace, and organizational developmentCreate compelling content that enables clients to visualize and understand the benefits and implications of our strategies and recommendations, such as the impact on space supply and occupancy demand data, business goals, and organizational cultureArticulate and represent scenarios (with plans, data, feedback, relevant precedents, etc.) to illustrate a range of relevant solutions (e.g., design concepts, work styles, program, service models, etc.) based on the research that meet the client’s objectives and expresses the tradeoffs associated each optionManage face-to-face facilitation workshops, staff surveys and conducting research from multiple stakeholders. Presenting the findings to clients and leadership change championsSupport the interface with Gensler design studios to ensure the seamless transition of design strategy into the design implementation phaseYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in, Business, Economics, real estate, architecture, interior design, design management, or urban design3+ years of professional experience in real estate strategy, qualitative and quantitative analytics, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro Collaboration PlatformFamiliarity using data analytics tools (Power BI) is preferredExperience facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders to reach consensusAbility to create positive relationships with outside design firms and corporate client and stakeholdersStrong graphic and presentation-building skillsPersuasive writing and story-telling skills*This is not a remote position.
