You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. Your work ethic, combined with your commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makes Gensler the perfect place to nurture your career.What You Will DoCollaborate on design projects in the critical facilities, life sciences, and healthcare practice areas, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and documentationWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesDocumentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Assist in resolving complex technical and design issuesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordinationProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionParticipate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samplesContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programsYour Qualifications3-6 years’ experience designing multiple building typologies of varying scaleExperience in Critical Facilities projects (i.e. data centers, command and control centers, high-performance computing, etc.) healthcare projects, or similarly complex projects (i.e. science/labs/national labs, light-industrial/manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, healthcare, aviation & transportation, etc.) preferredBachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture requiredFlexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of developmentStrong leadership, communication, and relationship management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding graphic presentation skillsStrong Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office experience desired.
