Your work ethic, combined with your passion for collaborating and mentoring, makes Gensler the perfect place to foster your career.What You Will DoPerform technical design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentationManage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultantsManage communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsMaintain project manual and specificationsConduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during constructionProvide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsWork with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators Your QualificationsAdvanced degree in Architecture or Design preferred, with a rigorous design education5-10 years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scaleExperience working on ground-up and renovation projects is a plusProficient in Revit with experience at a professional levelProficient in design modeling/visualization tools including but not limited to Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape; having experience with Excel and computational tools like grasshopper/dynamo is also a plusProficient in production software including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite, experience working with video/animation software such as After Effect and Premier is a plusExperience working with sustainable design software for climate, experience and life-cycle analysis is a plus, such as Climate Studio or LadybugExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsOutstanding graphic presentation skillsAbility to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituentsLEED accreditation a plusLife at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
