As a Technical Director for our London office, you will act as a leader in all aspects to our studio members and be responsible for the proper deployment of staff to ensure the make-up of each project team suits each individual project’s specific needs and requirements. You should be passionate about all stages, from test fits to technical detailing and construction documentation. You will be experienced in handling the technical process, with excellent presentation and relationship building skills, and the ability to understand and interpret client needs and requirements.
You will have a good understanding of the end-to-end design process, commencing in the marketing phase through construction completion, and possess demonstrable International experience, having worked on a variety of projects. A self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative and collaborative approach, the Technical Director will work in partnership with colleagues across Gensler’s practice areas not only in London but Firmwide, as well as with clients, vendors, consultants and stakeholders at all levels.
