ABOUT THE ROLE As a Visual Communications Designer with crazy-good web and digital design skills, you are part of our Brand, Marketing and Business Development (BMBD) Team. You are an energetic, inventive designer who is eager to create meaningful impressions alongside a hub of marketing and graphic design peers to advance the visual voice and creative direction of work planned project deliverables and to win pursuits. You collaborate across the BMBD community and technical direct labor to deliver creative excellence with a shared focus on project deliverables, pursuits, public relations, collateral, brand-building efforts and more. WHAT YOU WILL DO PROJECT MILESTONE DELIVERABLES Support web and digital design standards, templating, development, and deployment. Support the development of project deliverable standards, visual assets, and materials including basic template set-up at project kick-off. Collaborate with Project Leaders or delegated Project Managers to curate customized templates that meet a client’s expectations when feasible and appropriate. PROPOSAL MARKETING Support web and digital design standards, templating, development, and deployment. Support the development of project deliverable standards and materials including basic template set-up at project kick-off. Create visual assets and layouts for proposals, presentations, and related marketing materials using our design templates as inspiration, and working within our brand standards. Participate in the development of collateral that supports our markets, offices, and services. BRAND MARKETING Lead marketing activities, such as sponsorships, award submissions, and events, that align with our PR/Communications objectives and increase our brand visibility. FIRM KNOWLEDGE & SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE Develop strong, in-depth knowledge of the firm’s portfolio, personnel and offerings. Develop subject matter expertise in web and digital design colleteral (across markets, typologies, services, technology or other) that adds value to our marketing initiatives and pursuit activities. OPERATIONS Self-review all work for accuracy and quality of content. Provide peer review and oversight for accuracy and quality of content. OTHER May participate in external marketing activities. May perform other duties as required. ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Must have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field. A minimum of three years of related work experience required. Evidence of a strong web and digital media portfolio required. Please submit samples. Related experience working in a graphic design or marketing role for a professional services firm preferred. Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for innovation. Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. Solid skills in strategic thinking, creativity, and design—with the potential and/or interest to further develop/excel in at least one of these areas. Deep expertise with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe DreamWeaver, PHP and/or WordPress. Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
