This is a great opportunity for a visualization artist who is interested in working in a highly collaborative and creative environment. Working with the New York Visualization Leader, you will help translate what a Designer is trying to communicate to the client within 3D or 2D illustrations. These illustrations can range from conceptual art to photo-realistic quality and are a key driver to tell a story through Gensler’s design. The artist needs to be able to communicate well, as they will be working with multiple teams within the New York Office. The artist’s ability to produce quality work within the given time frame will be key as well as the flexibility to meet changing priorities.What You Will DoCreate a variety of high quality exterior and interior architectural 3D models and renderings/360/animations/immersive environmentsRapidly construct accurate high quality, realistic 3D renderings Research and develop immersive environments through Virtual and Augmented Reality content and appsWork independently and with project teams in creating representations of design sketches or developed projectsIdentify workflows, tools, and efficiencies that will bring value-proposition to our projectsEducate design teams at the studio level on best practices, methods, and new technologiesYour QualificationsBachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Arts, Graphic Arts or equivalent preferred2-3 years of working experience as wellHighly skilled artisticallyIntermediate knowledge in Unreal, 3D Studio Max, Vray, Revit, and the Adobe Suite; After Effects experience is a plusExperience translating architect's sketches and CAD/Revit documents into realized 3D models and imagesTrained in diverse platforms to work on a variety of project typesExperience with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality development preferred.Able to research solutions to either artistic or technical issues when they arise.A good understanding of Photography, Light and Color, along with composition and basic art principles.**The base salary will be estimated between $70-85k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
