Learn about the products we will release in the phase one of the Census 2021 outputs release schedule
In this online event, the Office for National Statistics are excited to share our updated plans for the phase one release of Census 2021 products.
During phase one, we will publish:
Census 2021 first results, consisting of population estimates cross tabulated by age and sex, and household estimates
a series of topic summaries, containing other univariate data
area profiles, bringing together the univariate data across a range of topics for specific areas
In this webinar, we will:
introduce each product and the type of data it will contain
share examples of what each product might look like
indicate where or how the product is likely to be published
summarise changes we are making to products, from the feedback we received in the consultation and ongoing user engagement
In the summer of 2021, we ran a public ‘Census 2021 outputs: content design and release phase proposals’ consultation. On 16 December 2021, we published the feedback users provided about phase one of our release plans. In the same report, we also discussed what changes we’re making or considering based on this feedback. This webinar will discuss these changes, published on the Census 2021 outputs consultation website.
At the end of the webinar, we will provide time for attendees to ask questions about phase one of the Census 2021 outputs release plans.
Joining information: Registered attendees will be sent the webinar joining link the day before the webinar. If you have any questions about the webinar, please contact: [email protected]
As we progress through 2022, we will continue to share our plans for later phases of the release schedule. These include:
Phase two: multivariate data for the usual resident, household, and communal establishment population bases
Phase three: alternative population bases, small populations, origin-destination and microdata
