**Your Opportunity**
Join a growing regional Healthcare practice in our Denver office as a Sr Design Coordinator helping our mountain region team expand our capabilities in coordinated project delivery, technical design, and BIM leadership at the project level. As a Senior Design Coordinator contributing on our professional Architecture team, you will build and expand your client relationships, impact how projects are delivered, and mentor the next generation of healthcare architects.
You will work with a team of senor staff to drive use of technology initiatives within the healthcare practice that improve the quality of services, documents, and design/planning workflows.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for delivering small to large healthcare projects of varying complexity/size in the western US.
+ Inspires creativity, critical thought, and design excellence both internally and externally.
+ Manage and lead lean project delivery efforts.
+ Conceptualizes a building design from both a functional and aesthetic perspective in concert with a client’s requirements, budget, and program.
+ Help the Principals acquire new projects to support your team by repeat business from existing client and in support of the Healthcare Sector strategy.
+ Effectively participate and help to win work in interviews for potential projects.
+ Plan, organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client.
+ Keeps the Principal in Charge informed of progress on project expectations, deadlines, and deliverables and understands the limits of the decision-making responsibilities of the role and respects the boundaries of the Principal in Charge’s responsibilities.
+ Mentors, develops, and motivates project teams.
+ Ensure tasks for compliance with internal project audit, Project Management Framework are completed timely and properly documented.
+ Leads project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and sub-contractors.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Proven delivery of successful Healthcare projects ranging in size from small to large.
+ Ability to engage in creative and critical thought.
+ Understanding of Lean project delivery.
+ Ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively.
+ Participate in on-site project team setting.
+ To check work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage team to meet project budget and schedule.
+ To interpret sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar material.
+ Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases, participating in marketing, client and owner presentations as required
+ To apply accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes to a wide variety of project scopes and complexity.
+ Ability to lead a highly collaborative BIM delivery strategy.
+ Knowledge of building construction systems, constructability, materials, and industry associated standards.
+ Understanding of the relationship between drawings and specifications.
+ Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp.
+ Experience with leading and implementation of Lean design and project delivery tools.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
+ Path to licensure.
+ Minimum 20 years of experience with healthcare or institutional clients.
+ LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
+ Lean project delivery experience preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
