**Your Opportunity**
You will work on tasks under the guidance of an Intermediate or Senior Interior Designer. This is an entry level Interior Design role. You will support the interior design team and work collaboratively with the architectural team, conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of interior design of a project, including but not limited to space planning, interior architecture, interior materials and palette, specifications, FFE and signage.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Supports interior design teams in the development of design documentation
+ Participates in the development of interior design in accordance with cost parameters and ensures interior design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.
+ Develops the interior design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats to express the design intent and coordinate with Project Designer.
+ Utilizes BIM technologies in the development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components.
+ Participates in design critiques and pin-ups.
+ Participates in the generation of content for client presentations
+ Assists in the validation that design complies with building codes, ADA guidelines and LEED per project type and requirements.
+ Assists in the selections of interior systems and materials, finishes and fixtures.
+ Participates in the completion of FFE scope tasks from design and selection through bid, coordinating with specific client and project needs.
+ Participates in the completion of signage coordination scope tasks from design and selection through bid, coordinating with specific client and project needs.
+ Demonstrates a commitment to the profession and the firm by participating in a professional organization.
+ Performs Construction Administration tasks to support the scope of work.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Basic knowledge and application of accessibility codes and applicable building codes.
+ Basic understanding of all phases of architectural document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
+ Ability to conduct space planning, block planning, and adjacencies in coordination with building program.
+ Ability to develop floor plans, elevations, and details.
+ Ability to check own work for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
+ Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting through all phases of document production.
+ Ability to engage in creative and critical thought.
+ Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. To communicate abstract ideas (verbal/written)
+ Requires understanding of Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD; Prefer experience with Abobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, Newforma, Bluebeam.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field
