**Your Opportunity**
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our practice of Airport Program Management and Construction Management. This position will contribute to Stantec's success by planning, executing, and managing medium to large projects using sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills in client facing, and effective tools and techniques. Our projects typically require both focus on architectural, engineering, business, and technology. The position often delivers new or enhanced facilities to the airport client. As a senior contributor with our professional Aviation Group, you will work independently to assist our Airport client throughout the lifecycle of a project. Your experience ensures that you are capable of managing the clients, contracts, technical team, project finance, schedules and budget.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for managing complex tasks on medium to large size projects.
+ Responsible to manage the delivery of quality documents.
+ Support the planning activities and organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client.
+ Keep the Client’s principals and executives informed of progress on project expectations, potential issues, deadlines, and deliverables; understand the levels of the decision-making responsibilities of the role as a Sr. Project Manager.
+ Maintain client relationship.
+ Lead the project and AE team to assure that the project design meets the client budget, schedule, program, and design intent.
+ Assist the Program Director in the negotiation and development of project agreements.
+ Develop and manage project budget, schedule, and overall work plan to realize target financial performance.
+ Oversee development of building documentation in modeling software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD)
+ Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate project teams.
+ Assure that Project Management Framework tasks are timely completed and properly documented.
+ Lead project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and sub-contractors.
+ Manage and track change orders, applications for payment by contractors and other contractual modifications impacting budget and schedule.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Knowledge of managing all phases of AE projects including project delivery methods.
+ Capable of executing and delivering small, medium, and large projects.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Capable of simultaneously supporting one or more Directors and Executives on multiple projects.
+ Effectively manages multiple deadlines and priorities.
+ Team player with the client, entire project team, and contractor.
+ Effective negotiator and communicator.
+ Skilled in facilitate internal and external project team meetings, monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflict, and prioritization.
+ Adaptive and strategic.
+ Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects; Prefer experience with Revit.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
+ Strongly desired the possession of Texas licensed architect.
+ Minimum 15 years of experience in the architectural-engineering industry of which minimum 5 years of experience as a senior project manager role at architectural-engineering firms.
+ LEED Green Associate or LEED AP a plus.
This position works primarily in an office setting co-located at the client office and includes some work on construction sites. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
