**Your Opportunity**
Stantec is one of the global leading Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering and Environmental consulting firms, is seeking a summer landscape architecture intern to support our Bellevue and Portland design offices.
Successful candidates will work directly with licensed Landscape Architects and be engaged with all aspects of design, from concept, detail development, specifications to final construction documents. You’ll have an opportunity to engage with a wide range of projects and regularly collaborate with our regional Pacific Northwest offices including Seattle, Lynnwood, Portland, Spokane, and Boise. We work and collaborate with our broader network of offices in the west including San Francisco, Pasadena, Reno, Las Vegas, and Irvine Stantec offices. Our experienced inter-disciplinary team specializes municipal and regional water quality projects, public open space, parks, and recreation design; urban public space planning and design; regional habitat restoration design, bicycle, pedestrian, and multiuse trails; higher education and student housing; outdoor sports and athletic facilities; mixed-use and master planned community developments; commercial, healthcare and corporate campuses; and landscape assessments. **Your Key Responsibilities**
Interns will be encouraged to develop their design skills while supporting our team with existing conditions analysis, concept design, design charrettes, construction documentation, project presentation graphics, and construction administration assistance.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Proficient design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills.
+ Self-motivated and passionate about design.
+ Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
+ The ability to work with others, as well as independently.
+ Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Sketch-up, and Adobe programs is strongly desired.
**Education and Experience**
Applicants should be a current (student) in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year undergraduate or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Landscape Architecture program.
