Architecture finds itself in an intriguing position within the realm of design. Unlike artifacts, instruments, or garments, a building exists for contemplation, use, and in a way, it is "worn." Contemporary architecture often navigates between these various facets, unsure of which aspect to prioritize, swayed by prevailing trends. Some architects impose their ideas onto materials, while others allow materials to shape their ideas. Either way, the subject is coerced into a simplified state, subject to the will or talent of the architect, whichever holds greater influence.

Our approach is distinct. We believe that architecture should embody the richness of the life it encompasses, no more and no less. Just as life is diverse and multifaceted, so should architecture be. It cannot be reduced to a set of abstractions or confined to a singular identity. When executed skillfully, architecture transcends "isms," rejects general principles, and avoids clichéd responses. Its solutions are context-specific, tailored to the unique circumstances of the present moment, regardless of global acclaim. Most importantly, architecture belongs to those who inhabit it, not just its author. It must become an integral part of the people it serves; otherwise, it becomes nothing more than a stage, transforming the lives of its occupants into a reality show without an audience. The client's identity, not ours, should be embodied in their building, with the organizing intelligence discreetly woven beneath the surface.
