We have an exciting opportunity for a talented BIM coordinator ready to make a difference in an innovative and thriving design firm. This well-known international practice, based in London, is on the lookout for someone like you! Let's keep the company name on the hush-hush until we speak on the phone, but just know they're a big deal in the architectural world. They have a rich history, led by an inspiring leader, and they have been consistently producing exceptional architecture that stands the test of time since 2005. Their portfolio? Pretty impressive, spanning across the UK, Europe, and Africa.
They're hoping to find a skilled BIM coordinator. What does that mean for you? Well, you'll be the go-to person in the team for all things BIM. From developing and maintaining BIM protocols, implementing the BIM Execution Plan, setting up the modeling environment, and ensuring the accuracy of models and datasets, your days will be packed with variety and challenge. You'll also have the chance to train and assist the project team, providing guidance on procedures and standards, and sourcing and maintaining model content.
One of the cool things about this role is that you'll be liaising with the design team and creating adaptive components and custom Revit families. Imagine that - your work, part of a lasting architectural legacy!
Now, let's talk about what you bring to the table. You should have at least a year's experience as a BIM Coordinator and a solid understanding of BIM Level 2. If you've got some Navisworks and COBie experience tucked up your sleeve, that's a bonus. Your background should demonstrate your capability in delivering BIM projects, and any experience with Dynamo is definitely a plus.
And who are you? A detail-oriented, organized professional with a positive disposition. You're a strategic thinker who can build relationships at all levels and self-motivated enough to get the job done.
Now, let me share a bit more about this company. They're not your typical architecture firm. Instead of going down the specialization route, they choose to approach every project as a new adventure, a fresh investigation. They're adamant about creating public art on a larger urban scale and take pride in how their work influences and shapes its context.
And diversity? It's at the core of their business. With a female principal architect leading the way, they've crafted a supportive and considerate community for individuals from all backgrounds. They're committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity in their workforce and throughout the wider built environment.
So, if you're interested in joining a firm that values the architectural idea more than a semantic approach, and you want to be part of a team that thrives on fresh ideas and diversity, then this might be the opportunity for you. Reach out to me, and let's discuss how you can make a lasting impact with your skills as a BIM coordinator.
Don't hesitate, send me an application and let's chat about how this could be your next exciting career move!
