The Project Architect's role is to lead the coordination and production of architectural information for projects, working with all teams to ensure Modulous product maximises value and efficiency for ourselves and our clients and to assist in the development of Modulous physical and digital products by critically appraising, testing, and championing our products.
Provide day-to-day management of the architectural design function within a project or projects. This will involve working across all RIBA Workstages from inception to completion.
Manage Modulous technicians/architectural assistants and external design consultants as required.
Obtain direction from and report progress to Design Director.
Liaise with the Technical and Technology departments in relation to development of the Kit of Parts in terms of drawing, modelling and imaging
Help to ensure that design quality is maintained consistently across all projects whether designed internally or externally.
Participate in communication of design concepts to current and prospective clients.
Assist in management of projects within established design budgets and programmes.
Maintain awareness of industry trends (such as related-technology and green design).
Assist Technology team in design and architectural requirements for integration into software platform.
Qualification to RIBA part 3 level.
Post-qualification experience of at least one year in practice.
Proven experience within design teams internally within practice and externally.
Relevant IT skills, principally in CAD (Autodesk) and BIM (Revit), DTP (Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Ability to manage external design teams.
Confidence in managing internal stakeholders (C-Suite, Senior Team, other teams).
Experience and/or interest in residential and/or mixed-use development preferable.
Experience working on all workstages of projects.
Working interest and knowledge of modular/MMC/DfMA.
