**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking a **Rockies - Colorado Surface Transportation Department Manager** to be based in **Denver or Colorado Springs, CO.**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for both the technical practice and operational management of multiple medium sized offices/operating units with moderate complexity.
+ Determines and executes the strategic direction of the Division Manager to ensure financial profitability.
+ Works in conjunction with the regional management to ensure financial success of the offices within the district or operating unit.
+ Coordinates and collaborates with other Transportation Divisions with an emphasis on Multimodal, Transit, Traffic Technologies, and Structures
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS + 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education, including two (2) years of leadership
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 15+ years of experience in Transportation Industry and established client relationships relative to Highway and Bridge design in Colorado.
+ Colorado PE (Professional Engineer)
+ Strong Client Base – Having experience capturing, managing, and developing projects for the City/County of Denver, City of Colorado Springs, CDOT, and other governmental agencies in the field of Transportation.
+ Business Acumen – deploys world-class business practices, exerts enterprise-level influence, demonstrates cross-cultural business savvy.
+ Communicates Masterfully – builds broad and deep external networks, uses a full range of available communication mediums to inspire and engage others, demonstrates empathy, understanding and exceptional active listening skills, elicits feedback and encourages others to speak up.
+ Builds high performance organizations, is an architect of change, expands capability and capacity, drives flawless execution.
+ Growth Oriented Management - seeking talent to build the Department's capabilities and increase market share, while meeting the Department's growth goals.
+ In-depth understanding of all aspects of field of expertise. May direct the work of associates doing different tasks under the same field. In-depth knowledge of Highway and Bridge projects, along with interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
+ Coordinates with business Leaders in other geographies to share resources, utilize technical strengths, ensure independent reviews of all deliverables, and identify key project opportunities as early as possible.
+ Collaborates with peers in other geographies to provide global leadership, leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction and implement best practices.
+ Fosters an ‘agile’ organizational structure and culture to allow the Surface Transportation Business Line to deliver large complex programs as well as provide high-value expert solutions to quality clients
+ Work closely with other business developments leaders, operations and local leadership as it relates to staffing, retention, employee engagement, budgets, project performance, quality, safety, business unit profitability and project technical development.
+ Having strong political and professional connections within Colorado that will allow the chosen professional and leader to be successful in developing the Colorado marketspace to its full potential
**Additional Information**
+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The pay scale based on related project work, years and career experience ranges from $142,000 to $260,000.
