**AECOM** is seeking a mid-level Environmental Compliance Auditor/ Environmental Professional located at any AECOM office in Florida. The selected candidate will join AECOM’s EHS & Air practice within the Environment Business Line. The Environmental Compliance Auditor/Professional will primarily focus on supporting clients by executing environmental audits and environmental compliance project tasks.
+ Prepare for and participate in environmental compliance audits.
+ Ability to develop environmental compliance plans.
+ Develop and deliver environmental training to industrial clients.
+ Provide mentoring, guidance and coaching to new or less-experienced staff.
+ Maintain effective client relationships.
+ Conduct projects within scope, budget, quality criteria and schedule.
+ Provide regulatory interpretation of environmental laws and regulations to our clients.
+ Maintain knowledge of current and emerging USEPA and State environmental regulatory requirements.
+ BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
+ A minimum of 6 years of experience conducting environmental regulatory compliance audit fieldwork.
+ Working knowledge of Local, County, State and Federal EHS regulations and consensus standards.
+ Ability to travel 50%-80% of the year.
+ Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required.
+ Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
Advanced degree (MS) in engineering, physical sciences, safety, or related field.
+ Working knowledge of Local, County, State and Federal EHS regulations and consensus standards, including:
+ Clean Air Act (CAA) – emission inventories, permitting requirements, RMP, PSD, MACT, NSPS, ODS, GHG, and compliance assessments;
+ Clean Water Act (CWA) – NPDES and Indirect Discharge permitting and compliance;
+ Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) – CWS, NTNCWS permitting and compliance;
+ Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) – waste classification, management, and reporting;
+ Oil Pollution Act (OPA) - SPCC Plans and FRP;
+ Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) – inventory evaluation, Tier II, and Form R reporting;
+ Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA);
+ Federal Insecticide, Fungicide & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA); and
+ Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
+ 8 years of EHS experience in a consulting, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or refining industry.
+ Participation in developing effective business presentations and proposals to provide competitive, high-value EHS auditing services.
+ Experience in managing EHS programs, compliance audits or compliance program evaluations.
+ Professional certification - CPEA, PE, CSP, or other equivalent certification.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
